Launch of the <strong>ULA (United Launch Alliance)<\/strong> Atlas V rocket and Boeing Starliner spacecraft is targeted for 10:52 a.m. EDT Wednesday, June 5, from Space Launch Complex-41 at Cape Canaveral Space Force Station in Florida. Starliner will dock to the forward-facing port of the station\u2019s Harmony module at approximately 12:15 p.m., Thursday, June 6.<\/p>\n<p>Wilmore and Williams will remain at the space station for about a week to test the Starliner spacecraft and its subsystems before NASA works to complete final certification of the transportation system for rotational missions to the orbiting laboratory as part of the agency\u2019s Commercial Crew Program.<\/p>\n<p>NASA\u2019s mission coverage is as follows:&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>On Wednesday, June 5, launch coverage begins on NASA+, NASA Television, the NASA app, YouTube, and the agency\u2019s website, with the launch scheduled later in the morning. Coverage on NASA+ will end shortly after Starliner orbital insertion, but NASA Television will continue through docking, hatch opening, and welcome remarks. A postlaunch news conference will feature NASA Administrator Bill Nelson, Ken Bowersox, Joel Montalbano, Steve Stich, Mark Nappi, and Tory Bruno. This will air live on NASA+, NASA Television, the NASA app, YouTube, and the agency\u2019s website. Media may ask questions in person or via phone, with limited auditorium space available; contact the Kennedy newsroom for dial-in details. NASA+ will resume coverage, and NASA Television\u2019s public channel will break from in-orbit coverage for the news conference, while mission operational coverage continues on NASA Television\u2019s media channel and the agency\u2019s website. Postlaunch, NASA+ coverage will end, and mission coverage will continue on both NASA channels.&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>On Thursday, June 6, arrival coverage resumes on NASA+, the NASA app, YouTube, NASA Television, and the agency\u2019s website. The targeted docking to the station\u2019s Harmony module is followed by hatch opening and welcome remarks.
