The application ingests metrics feeds from satellite ground-system and analyzes the data to identify trends and abnormalities to help enhance network speed, quality and reliability. Currently, eXtremeDB captures approximately 1 million metric entries per second from the ViaSat ground system.<\/p>\n<p>ViaSat expects that DMAS, using eXtremeDB\u2019s capabilities, will improve the flow rate, performance and quality of the metrics data. ViaSat can then leverage analytics performed on the DMS data across market segments and the geographic regions of its network.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cOnce we launch the ViaSat 2 and ViaSat 3 satellite programs, we expect to see a significant increase in metric volumes and flow rates.
