The two companies are partnering together on a new service called K\u0101lo.<\/p>\n<p>The new K\u0101lo service, which will become available in the third quarter, will introduce a simplified way to buy and sell connectivity to customers and sectors that are currently unreached or underserved by terrestrial networks. According to the companies involved, K\u0101lo will change the way satellite services are purchased by direct users, integrators and service providers because it will be sold much like cellular services are purchased.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cThis investment further solidifies the K\u0101lo bundled services offering by providing a global high-throughput network for our easy to purchase services packages,\u201d said Nathan Kundtz, founder, president and CEO of Kymeta. \u201cThe investment aligns with our mutual interest in simplifying satellite access.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Using Kymeta mTennau7 Antenna Subsystem Modules (ASMs) and fully integrated KyWay Terminals, K\u0101lo will provide satellite connectivity for both fixed and mobile applications, further reducing communication barriers.
