It has signed a contract with <strong>iSAT Africa<\/strong> to expand its C-band Multi Channel Per Carrier (MCPC) broadcast platform and service into Africa.<\/p>\n<p>The service will facilitate distribution of TV channels on the Thaicom 6 satellite. The MCPC broadcast platform enables Thaicom to expand its broadcast services in Africa from Thaicom 5 to Thaicom 6 at the company\u2019s 78.5 degrees East prime video neighborhood. The platform aims to be a cost-effective solution for African and international broadcasters looking to develop their content distribution across Sub-Saharan Africa.
