Al Jazeera commenced transmission of a new HD channels on Es\u2019hail-1, making 25.5\u00b0E a true hotspot for quality high definition channels.<\/p>\n<figure class=\"flex flex-col justify-center items-center w-full image-block px-8\"><img decoding=\"async\" alt=\"Placeholder alt text\" class=\"w-full object-cover mx-auto max-w-sm\" src=\"http:\/\/www.satellitetoday.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/04\/bZvOGw5RVKZcwrxDojmn_Doha_Skyline.jpg\"><\/figure>\n<h2>Es\u2019hail-2<\/h2>\n<p>We plan to provide additional premium satellite capacity in the MENA region with the expansion of the Es\u2019hailSat fleet. Es\u2019hail-2, a second high-powered, advanced satellite will further boost broadband delivery, broadcasting and global connectivity for Qatar and the entire MENA region. To be positioned at the 26\u00b0E hotspot, it\u2019s footprint will cover the Middle East and North Africa.<\/p>\n<h2>New Teleport for MENA<\/h2>\n<p>The new Es\u2019hailSat state-of-the-art teleport will provide satellite Telemetry, Tracking and Commanding (TT&amp;C) and capacity management, together with a wide range of teleport services such as uplink, downlink, multiplexing, encoding, playout and broadcasting, tailored for our customers and business partners.
