Based in Vancouver, Washington, Gulick offers full-service truckload, dry van and refrigerated services across the continental United States for a wide variety of freight, including food, beverages, paper and wood products, and nursery stock.<\/p>\n<p>Gulick is using Orbcomm\u2019s telematics systems to track, monitor and control its fleet. The satellite operator\u2019s end-to-end solutions include proprietary hardware and a web application with data reporting and analytics capabilities. Orbcomm provides Gulick with two-way temperature monitoring and control, fuel management, maintenance and logistics services, enabling the trucking company to increase in-transit visibility and utilization of its assets, gain fuel savings, mitigate product spoilage and ensure compliance with the <strong>U.S. Food and Drug Administration<\/strong>\u2019s (FDA\u2019s) upcoming \u201cFood Safety Modernization Act.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>In addition, Orbcomm\u2019s telematics solutions easily integrate with the <strong>TMW<\/strong> Suite dispatch software platform, providing Gulick with a centralized view of near-real-time asset location, temperature and sensor readings as well as alarm events through one system.
