The high-speed Internet service uses Express AM6 at 53 degrees east, as well as Express AM5 at 140 degrees east, which covers territory from Kaliningrad to Petropavlovsk Kamchatsky in Russia with a total length of about 7,000 kilometers.<\/p>\n<p>RSCC began offering Ka-band satellite broadband in the spring of 2015 using domestic spacecraft in Russia\u2019s Far East and Siberia. Since April 2016, the service area of high-speed satellite system expanded to include the country\u2019s Central and Southern Ural regions.<\/p>\n<p>A central switching station and antenna systems located in the Khabarovsk Space Communications Center (SCC), and a central switching station with antenna systems and network management systems in the Dubna SCC near Moscow help enable the satellite service.
