Earnings Before Interest, Taxes, Depreciation and Amortization (EBITDA) reached $199 million, which translates to a 10.6 percent increase compared to 2014. Of the net results, approximately $70 million ($19 million more than in 2014) are attributed to the Hispasat Group parent company.<\/p>\n<p>Hispasat\u2019s space capacity revenue also grew to $241 million; a 9.72 percent increase from the previous business year. The operator benefitted from the positive exchange rate, favored by the strong U.S. dollar, which offset the sharp depreciation of the Brazilian real.<\/p>\n<p>Geographically, 34.6 percent of the Hispasat Group\u2019s revenue from leasing space capacity comes from Europe and North Africa, while 65.4 percent stems from the Americas.
