The agreement will enable RigNet to extend high-speed communications to offshore service and supply vessels within the global oil and gas industry.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cThe addition of Inmarsat\u2019s Fleet Xpress to our energy maritime offerings will enable RigNet to deliver a high degree of service and functionality to this important sector of the oil and gas market,\u201d said Mark Slaughter, CEO and president of RigNet.<\/p>\n<p>Fleet Xpress is Inmarsat\u2019s hybrid Ka\/L-band mobile satellite system.
