The multi-year, multi-transponder agreement allows BBC World Service to increase its channel line-up throughout the Asia-Pacific, Africa and Latin America regions. In addition to satellite capacity, BT will have access to Intelsat\u2019s teleport facility in Napa, Calif. along with the company\u2019s terrestrial network, IntelsatOne.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cBBC World Service has very specific requirements as it relates to its global programming needs, including optimizing its distribution and overall operational efficiency.
