The equipment will be used by one of the largest pan-regional Mobile Network Operators (MNOs) to upgrade and significantly expand its infrastructure throughout the Democratic Republic of the Congo (DRC), according to the company.<\/p>\n<p>The client selected the CDM-625A platform for the network expansion due to its spectral efficiencies and its ability to best support traffic optimization at data rates for GSM cell phone backhaul traffic. The CDM-625A leverages the VersaFEC-2 Forward Error Correction and Modulation technique along with the DoubleTalk Carrier-in-Carrier bandwidth compression technology and 5 percent carrier roll-off to provide high Mbps\/MHz ratios.
