The solution operates independently from IP infrastructure, making pay-TV options more accessible to mobile devices.<\/p>\n<p>According to Neotion, the way traditional unicast-based Content Delivery Network (CDN) costs increase with the size of the audience makes satellite preferable after surpassing a few hundred thousand viewers. Satellite operational costs remain flat regardless of the number of users.<\/p>\n<p>The combined solution uses Neotion\u2019s DVBeacon platform, Broadpeak\u2019s nanoCDN system and Eutelsat\u2019s SmartLNB.
