According to the companies, the PRC-155 is now the first two-channel fielded radio to be operationally deployed for the <b>U.S. Army<\/b>.<\/p>\n<p>The remainder of the 1,500 ordered radios will be shipped during the first quarter of 2015. Soldiers can use the PRC-155 to connect line-of-sight radios to satellite communications systems. They can also connect to regional headquarters through secure satellite communication networks.<\/p>\n<p>General Dynamics and Rockwell Collins are the two vendors that build the PRC-155 radios.
