The purchase enables RigNet to provide remote communications services in the country as well as a means to expand to nearby geographies.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cRigNet now has the ability to serve customers within Kazakhstan, with plans to expand more broadly within the Central Asian region,\u201d said Hector Maytorena, RigNet\u2019s group vice president, Eastern Hemisphere.<\/p>\n<p>Munaicom was licensed to provide VSAT services in November 2011 and remains a licensed telecommunications provider in Kazakhstan.
