MACOM\u2019s portfolio includes a broad array of radio frequency (\u201cRF\u201d), microwave, millimeter wave, and optical products to support satellite communications links and ground station infrastructure.&nbsp;<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span dir=\"LTR\">These products include linearizer modules for <\/span><span dir=\"LTR\">solid-state amplifiers (\u201cSSPA\u201d)<\/span><span dir=\"LTR\"> and&nbsp;<\/span><span dir=\"LTR\">traveling wave tube amplifiers (\u201cTWT\u201d)<\/span><span dir=\"LTR\">, analog and photonics components for free space optics (\u201cFSO\u201d),&nbsp;<\/span><span dir=\"LTR\">Gallium Nitride (\u201cGaN\u201d)<\/span><span dir=\"LTR\">&nbsp;monolithic microwave integrated circuits (\u201cMMICs\u201d) and various small signal components and integrated hybrid assemblies for satellite payload and ground station electronics.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span dir=\"LTR\">Customers and attendees will have the opportunity to meet&nbsp;<\/span><span dir=\"LTR\">MACOM<\/span><span dir=\"LTR\">\u2019s engineering and product management teams for explanations of its new products and solutions.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span dir=\"LTR\">Satellite 2024<\/span><span dir=\"LTR\">&nbsp;demonstrations and new product announcements will include:<\/span><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><span dir=\"LTR\"><strong>V-Band Linearized GaN MMIC Solutions:<\/strong> By combining proprietary analog linearization modules and GaN MMIC process technologies,&nbsp;<\/span><span dir=\"LTR\">MACOM<\/span><span dir=\"LTR\">&nbsp;can achieve higher linear output power and higher linear efficiency in <\/span><span dir=\"LTR\">SatCom transmitters<\/span><span dir=\"LTR\">. Linearization of SSPAs or TWTs enables systems to transmit higher levels of linear power which improves link budget performance.<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span dir=\"LTR\"><strong>SatCom RF and Microwave Components:<\/strong>&nbsp;<\/span><span dir=\"LTR\">MACOM<\/span><span dir=\"LTR\">&nbsp;is expanding its single and multi-function RF components to support Ku- and Ka-band SatCom applications. The portfolio includes Gallium Arsenide (\u201cGaAs\u201d) and GaN power amplifiers, gain blocks, and low noise amplifiers (\u201cLNA\u201d), along with GaAs, silicon-on-insulator (\u201cSOI\u201d), and diode-based <\/span><span dir=\"LTR\">switches<\/span><span dir=\"LTR\">, <\/span><span dir=\"LTR\">mixers<\/span><span dir=\"LTR\">, <\/span><span dir=\"LTR\">attenuators<\/span><span dir=\"LTR\">, and <\/span><span dir=\"LTR\">phase shifters<\/span><span dir=\"LTR\">.<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span dir=\"LTR\"><strong>Free Space Optics:<\/strong>&nbsp;<\/span><span dir=\"LTR\">MACOM<\/span><span dir=\"LTR\">&nbsp;will exhibit a wide range of components and capabilities for FSO systems, including lasers, laser drivers, various photodiodes, and transimpedance amplifiers (\u201cTIA\u201d).
