The 2wcom technology was deployed to allow the DAB network to be fed with an Ensemble Transport Interface (ETI) stream and distributed over a large geographical area via satellite.<\/p>\n<p>Before using satellite distribution Club DAB Italia relied only on a limited network of radio links, which would not have been adequate for the speedy development of a national DAB network.
