The organization conducted the first deployment&nbsp;following Typhoon Haiyan, establishing multiple Wi-Fi access points and installing a fixed C-band satellite dish.<\/p>\n<p>The 10-day follow up trip will focus on resolving ongoing technical issues with the satellite service, as well as installing a 3G service and extending the available Wi-Fi footprint. Disaster Tech Lab is seeking four volunteers with expertise in Wi-Fi networking. The trip is planned tentatively between late November and mid-December and food and accommodations will be provided.
