The company selected <b>Broadcom<\/b>\u2019s encoding and decoding technology to enable 4K delivery at 60 Frames Per Second (FPS) in 10-bit color.<\/p>\n<p>Content is available through Korea Telecom\u2019s Olleh GiGA Ultra-HD service. Broadcom\u2019s 4K System-on-a-Chip (SoC) equipment, which uses High Efficiency Video Coding (HEVC), has been incorporated in KT\u2019s Set Top Boxes (STBs). Korea Telecom anticipates providing more than 500 program choices by the end of 2014.
