From the 4 degrees west orbital position, Spacecom\u2019s satellite will provide satellite broadcast services for 1+1 Media\u2019s entire network over its Ku-band pan-European transponders. After its scheduled launch in 2015, Amos 6 will broadcast all the network\u2019s channels throughout Ukraine and Europe.<\/p>\n<p>Amos 6 will offer 39 Ku-band segments and 24 Ka-band beams. Larger and more powerful than Amos 2 and Amos 3 combined, which are also at the 4 degrees west orbital position, Amos 6 will have a 16-year scheduled life span, and expand territories under current service by adding Western Europe and multi-beam coverage over parts of Africa to the company\u2019s existing Central and Eastern Europe and Middle East footprint.<\/p>\n<p>This is not the first Ukrainian customer for the Amos satellite fleet.
