The new capacity will be used to support growth in African markets.<\/p>\n<p>Launched in 2013, Africasat 1a is a hybrid C- and Ku-band communications satellite providing coverage over Azerbaijan, Central Asia, Europe and Africa. <b>Orbital Sciences <\/b>built the satellite under contract from the <b>Ministry of Communications and Information Technologies <\/b>of the Republic of Azerbaijan. The ministry has an agreement with Measat, who owns the orbital slot at 46 degrees east.<\/p>\n<p>Onlime was created earlier this year as a result of the merger between <b>CET Teleport <\/b>and <b>Limeline Group<\/b>.
