The company is also selling vehicular, maritime and asset tracking terminals in advance of the network.<\/p>\n<p>ViaSat announced its new L-band network in May 2014, predicated on agreements reached with <b>LightSquared <\/b>and <b>Thuraya<\/b>. ViaSat partnered with Thuraya on combined M2M-specific products and in March entered a multiyear agreement with LightSquared to use the company\u2019s SkyTerra 1 L-band satellite.
