Inmarsat 5, the first GX satellite placed into orbit, began operations in June 2014. The new agreement extends a partnership which concluded in December 2013 for Ka-band service options within Airbus Defence and Space\u2019 AuroraGlobal portfolio.<\/p>\n<p>The latest partnership is targeted especially toward customers who would use GX for helicopters and Unmanned Aerial Vehicles (UAVs), along with other aircraft.
