A large number of ASC\u2019s 2.5-meter Nomadic multi-band antennas and several 4.9-meter dual-band (Ka-band and low-Passive Intermodulation (PIM) X-band) antennas are on order for defense applications. For commercial customers, the main orders entail the 5.6-meter Ka-band gateways for Direct-to-Home (DTH) services and network installations of more than twenty 5.6-meter, 8.1-meter and 9.4-meter gateways. The company\u2019s Next Generation Controller, which provides control of six axes of motion on the ASC antennas, has also largely contributed to the company\u2019s recent successful period.<\/p>\n<p>ASC Signal has deployed more than 400 Ka-band gateways and Earth stations around the world. The systems include antennas deployed for <b>Inmarsat<\/b>\u2019s Global Xpress network, the Wideband Global Satcom (WGS) system, commercial Ka-band networks that include <b>Ipstar<\/b>, <b>Wildblue<\/b>, <b>DirecTV<\/b>, <b>Hughes<\/b> and DTH systems.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>[Via Satellite 06-26-2014] ASC Signal Corporation was selected by government and commercial customers to deliver 115 Ka-band gateways and large antennas systems over the course of the past six months.
