The Sino-Brazilian Commission High Level Coordination and Cooperation (Cosban) evaluated the feasibility of the China\u2013Brazil Earth Resources&nbsp;Satellite (CBERS) 4A mission as well as a continuation of the program to include a CBERS 5 and CBERS 6.<\/p>\n<p>Officials set the launch date for CBERS 4 to take place on Dec. 7, 2014. The satellite\u2019s schedule was accelerated after a Chinese rocket carrying CBERS 3 failed, destroying the spacecraft.
