This upgrade is intended to help Nine Network maximize its efficiency on the fully leased 54 MHz <b>Optus<\/b> D1 Ku-band transponder.<\/p>\n<p>Newtec\u2019s Australian partner <b>Lumina Broadcast Systems<\/b> supplied the upgrade, which is compliant with Second Generation Digital Video Broadcasting \u2013 Satellite (DVB S2) standards.
