The office will be headed by Mather Al-Ali, international sales manager at ETL Systems, who brings more than 18 years of sales experience in Middle Eastern markets. This move is the next step in the company\u2019s global expansion plan, following the recent launch of a North American headquarters in Washington, D.C.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cThe Middle East is a very active market and is growing in size by the day,\u201d said Ian Hiditch, CEO of ETL Systems. \u201cWe have already been very successful in the broadcasting and government satcom markets in the Middle East and we aim to grow this further. This year we estimate that over 25 percent of our total sales will come from the region and we have full confidence that Mather\u2019s expertise will both strengthen ongoing relationships as well as create new ones.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Recent projects in the MENA region for ETL Systems include an L-band Vulcan Matrix for <b>beIN Sports <\/b>channel and two Vortex L-band Matrix Systems for <b>du<\/b>, a UAE telecommunications company, and <b>Abu Dhabi Media Company,<\/b> du\u2019s parent company.
