Photo: Telenor<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<\/p>\n<p>[Via Satellite 05-19-2014] <b>Telenor Group<\/b> changed the organizational structure of its Group Executive Management (GEM), adding three new members on Friday, May 16. The company appointed Henrik Clausen, Katja Christina Nordgaard and P\u00e5l Wien Espen as executive vice presidents and members of the GEM.<\/p>\n<p>The move is part of a new strategy to transform the corporate affairs unit, as well as create a new group strategy and digital unit, which Clausen will run starting on June, 15 2014. The corporate affairs unit will merge corporate communications, sustainability and government relations into one group under the authority of Nordgaard beginning on Aug. 4 2014. Espen has been a participant of GEM meetings as part of the company\u2019s general council and head of group legal, and is now an official GEM member effective immediately.<\/p>\n<p><b>DiGi Communications<\/b>, a Malaysian mobile service provider majority owned by Telenor, has also made changes to its executive positions, with the appointment of Lars-\u00c5ke Norling as the new CEO, starting Aug. 1, 2014.
