The live production is set for 7:00 p.m. CET (1:00 p.m. EST) on Wednesday, May 7, and will be streamed for global viewing on Ultra High Definition (Ultra-HD) smart TVs, along with a 65-inch <b>Samsung<\/b> Ultra-HD TV at the opera house. The live production will feature Giuseppe Verdi\u2019s Italian opera <i>Nabucco<\/i>, starring Pl\u00e1cido Domingo as the title role.<\/p>\n<p>The Wiener Staatsoper Samsung smart TV app is fully integrated with Ultra-HD playout functionality and will allow viewers around the world to watch the broadcast at their corresponding prime time through Vienna State Opera\u2019s time-shift feature.
