These customers will receive voice and broadband connectivity via Thuraya\u2019s satellite network across even in the most remote areas. Beginning in May, Airtel Africa will sell Thuraya\u2019s products and airtime packages.<\/p>\n<p>With the aid of Thuraya\u2019s network, Airtel Africa will be provided with an immediate and cost-effective way to extend its coverage, generate new revenue streams and provide vital connectivity. Customers include enterprise users in the mining, energy, media, government and humanitarian NGO sectors.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cThuraya\u2019s partnership with Airtel Africa is a very positive development in bridging the digital divide in Africa.
