In his new role, the 25-year satellite industry veteran will be responsible for helping to develop and implement Intelsat\u2019s strategy for the region. Based in the company\u2019s Singapore office, French will report directly to Dee Schwalb, Intelsat\u2019s vice president for business development and satellite related services.<\/p>\n<p>Previously, French has served as senior analyst and head at the Singapore Representative Office for <b>Northern Sky Research (NSR)<\/b>, where he expanded NSR\u2019s coverage of the satellite industry into areas such as commercial satellite supply and demand modeling, video distribution and contribution, and direct-to-home (DTH). He also spearheaded NSR\u2019s assessment of emerging High Throughput Satellites (HTS).
