{"id":78888,"date":"2014-01-07T17:28:55","date_gmt":"2014-01-07T09:28:55","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/wp-productionenv-bjg9h2g2bgg5b8aa.southeastasia-01.azurewebsites.net\/news\/sea-launch-zenit-2s-rocket-completes-inspection-preps-for-april-launch\/"},"modified":"2014-01-07T17:28:55","modified_gmt":"2014-01-07T09:28:55","slug":"sea-launch-zenit-2s-rocket-completes-inspection-preps-for-april-launch","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/starpath.global\/news\/sea-launch-zenit-2s-rocket-completes-inspection-preps-for-april-launch\/","title":{"rendered":"Sea Launch Zenit 2S Rocket Completes Inspection, Preps for April Launch"},"content":{"rendered":"<\/p>\n<p>[Via Satellite 1-07-2014] <b>Sea Launch<\/b>, through <b>Energia Logistics<\/b>, has conducted a Hardware Acceptance Review of the Zenit 2S launch vehicle to be utilized in support of <b>Eutelsat<\/b>\u2019s Eutelsat 3B mission.&nbsp; A team of specialists from the chief system engineer\u2019s office at Energia Logistics, together with specialists from <b>RSC Energia<\/b>, reviewed all of the acceptance data for the Zenit 2S #SL 37 vehicle and found that all required acceptance test values were within specification.<\/p>\n<p>The <b>Ocean Force <\/b>sea-based transport vessel carrying the Zenit 2S launch vehicle designated for Eutelsat 3B departed the port at Oktyabrsky, Ukraine on Dec. 23, 2013 and is scheduled to arrive pier-side at Sea Launch\u2019s home port facility in Long Beach, California on Feb.16, 2014.&nbsp; The mission\u2019s Block DM SL upper stages and an undesignated mission\u2019s upper stage provided by RSC Energia will also be included in the shipment to home port. The payload accommodations, provided by <b>Boeing<\/b>, are scheduled to arrive on Feb. 12, 2014.
