The agreement will also make possible the provision of in-flight broadband connectivity to Panasonic\u2019s 39 customer airlines when flying into and over China.<\/p>\n<p>Part of the agreement includes a teleport that China Telecom Satellite will operate in Beijing, China, which is now ready for service. The teleport will launch Panasonic\u2019s service commercially following final approval from China\u2019s <b>Ministry of Industry and Information Technology <\/b>(MIIT).<\/p>\n<p>Panasonic Avionics\u2019 eXConnect system uses its global Ku-band aeronautical satellite network to deliver in-flight broadband connectivity, enabling passengers to access the Internet, compose and send email or log onto various social media sites.
