Located at 46 degrees east longitude, the satellite carries 36 active transponders in Ku-band and C-band.<\/p>\n<p>The country\u2019s satellite operator has sold more than 50 percent of Azerspace 1\u2019s capacity. Currently TV channels are broadcast to Lebanon, Ukraine, Turkey and several North African telecommunication operators.&nbsp;The majority of its existing customers are from the Middle East, Europe and North Africa.
