The move to design, build and launch \u201cthe most modern satellite constellation,\u201d as the company calls it started in 2006.<\/p>\n<p>Duplex service has been fully restored and Globalstar reported in a recent earnings call that new duplex voice and data subscribers doubled in the second quarter and minutes of use increased 41 percent. The company\u2019s new network supports its current lineup of voice, duplex and simplex data products and services, including its SPOT-branded consumer.
