Core EPS (non-GAAP) rose 13 percent to $1.67 on strong operating performance while GAAP EPS is valued at $1.41. Revenue increased by 9 percent to $21.8 billion reflecting higher deliveries on the Boeing 787 and 737 programs.<br \/>\n&nbsp;<br \/>\n&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; The company\u2019s backlog grew to a record $410 billion, including $40 billion of net orders during the second quarter 2013.
