The Polar&nbsp;Satellite&nbsp;Launch Vehicle (PSLV C22) took off at 11:41 p.m. from the Satish Dawan Space Centre in&nbsp;Sriharikota.<\/p>\n<p>Originally scheduled for June 12, a glitch in one of the electro-hydraulic control actuators in the second stage of PSLV C22 had forced ISRO to postpone the launch.<\/p>\n<p>ISRO officials hope this launch helps India reduce its dependency on the United States\u2019 GPS-based services.
