David Ashton \u2013 currently the vice president of Cobham\u2019s Tactical Communications &amp; Surveillance (TC&amp;S) strategic business unit \u2013 has been appointed as EVP for Business Development &amp; Technology; and Julian Hellebrand \u2013 currently Chief of Staff to the CEO and Group Director of Communications \u2013 as EVP for Lifecycle Management (LCM) &amp; Programme Management. Both appointments take effect starting April 15, 2013.<br \/>\n&nbsp;<br \/>\n&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; \u201cThese appointments are in line with our strategy to return Cobham to sustainable, organic growth,\u201d said Cobham\u2019s CEO Bob Murphy on a statement.<br \/>\n&nbsp;<br \/>\n&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; In his new role, Ashton will report directly to the CEO and become a member of the company\u2019s Group Executive committee. He will be based at Cobham\u2019s Corporate North America office in Arlington, Virginia.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp; &nbsp; Hellebrand will continue to report directly to the CEO, remain a member of the Group Executive committee, and work at the Wimborne offices.
