The initial deployment will provide optimized Internet access for crew welfare on maritime vessels. Xiplink CEO Jack Waters said in a statement that the company \u201cis excited and proud\u201d of its new commercial relationship with Globecomm.<br \/>\n\tIn other Globecomm news, the company announced earlier this week it has reached a maritime industry milestone, providing connectivity services to 3,500 ships globally.
