EchoStar aims to rely on the Ariane 5 flight-proven launch system in its upcoming expansion programs.<br \/>\n\tWith this new contract, EchoStar aims to expand on its relationship with Arianespace, dating back to 1996, to deliver advanced direct-to-home (DTH) services while expanding transponder capacity significantly.<br \/>\n\t&#8220;EchoStar\u2019s renewed confidence in Arianespace is extremely gratifying to us,\u201d Arianespace Chairman and CEO Jean-Yves Le Gall said in a statement. \u201cThis launch contract allows us to play a role in the expansion of EchoStar\u2019s broadcast and data revolution.
