In honor of the contract, Thales started construction of the satellite last year. China will handle the launch from the Xichang space center using a Changzheng-3B rocket type. <\/p>\n<p>With this satellite, Turkmenistan hopes to make a significant breakthrough in telecommunications, Internet and mobile communications in the country and the region.
