{"id":82625,"date":"2012-08-17T18:22:48","date_gmt":"2012-08-17T10:22:48","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/wp-productionenv-bjg9h2g2bgg5b8aa.southeastasia-01.azurewebsites.net\/news\/ss-l-contracts-sat-corp-to-supply-monics-carrier-monitoring-system\/"},"modified":"2012-08-17T18:22:48","modified_gmt":"2012-08-17T10:22:48","slug":"ss-l-contracts-sat-corp-to-supply-monics-carrier-monitoring-system","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/starpath.global\/news\/ss-l-contracts-sat-corp-to-supply-monics-carrier-monitoring-system\/","title":{"rendered":"SS\/L Contracts SAT Corp. to Supply Monics Carrier Monitoring System"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>[08-17-12] <b>Kratos Defense &amp; Security Solutions<\/b> subsidiary <b>SAT Corp.<\/b> has received a multi-million dollar order to supply its Monics carrier monitoring system and related products to <b>Space Systems\/Loral (SS\/L)<\/b> in support of one of its remote broadband services customer, the company announced Aug. 16.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp; &nbsp;SAT Corp. said the Monics solution would be implemented on its SAT-DSP-6000 instrument to support multi-beam monitoring for the unnamed SS\/L customer\u2019s constellation of next-generation Ka-band satellites.<br \/>\n&nbsp; &nbsp;The DSP-6000 uses advanced Digital Signal Processing (DSP) technology to produce 250MHz of instantaneous bandwidth and an extended L-band input frequency range of 900MHz to 2450MHz. &nbsp;<br \/>\n&nbsp; &nbsp;Monics\u2019 In-service In Orbit Test (IS-IOT) feature will be activated to ensure optimum performance of multi-beam satellites.
