The two channels are uplinked to Eutelsat 9A by P&amp;T Luxembourg, whose services were recently selected following an open call for tender by the <b>European Commission (EC)<\/b>.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp; &nbsp;The EC said the move to the 9 degrees East orbital slot provides both services with access across Europe, North Africa, the Middle East, and into European parts of the Russian Federation. \u201cThe EbS signals also will be upgraded to DVB S2 and MPEG4 with audio channels encoded using AAC-HE.
