{"id":84033,"date":"2011-10-28T23:41:13","date_gmt":"2011-10-28T15:41:13","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/wp-productionenv-bjg9h2g2bgg5b8aa.southeastasia-01.azurewebsites.net\/news\/numerex-reports-22-percent-gain-in-m2m-subscriber-base\/"},"modified":"2011-10-28T23:41:13","modified_gmt":"2011-10-28T15:41:13","slug":"numerex-reports-22-percent-gain-in-m2m-subscriber-base","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/starpath.global\/news\/numerex-reports-22-percent-gain-in-m2m-subscriber-base\/","title":{"rendered":"Numerex Reports 22 Percent Gain in M2M Subscriber Base"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>[10-28-11] Machine-to-machine (M2M) service provider <b>Numerex<\/b> saw its M2M subscription base grow 22 percent in the 2011 third quarter compared with the same period last year, which led to a 15 percent growth in the company\u2019s recurring revenues, Numerex announced in its latest financial results issued Oct. 27.<br \/>\n&nbsp; &nbsp;Numerex Chairman and CEO Stratton Nicolaides said the company finished the quarter with more than 1.3 million subscriptions that now generate nearly $10 million in quarterly recurring revenues.<br \/>\n&nbsp; &nbsp;\u201cStrong demand from our channel partners for our M2M services, particularly our network and application platforms, was the main catalyst for growth,\u201d Nicolaides said in a statement. \u201cWe will continue to concentrate our resources on developing and marketing our \u2018network-as-a-service\u2019 and horizontal M2M platforms, in addition to providing our cloud-based \u2018software-as-a-service\u2019 that enables M2M application deployment in nearly any vertical market.\u201d<br \/>\n&nbsp; &nbsp;Nicolaides affirmed the company\u2019s 2011 subscription growth guidance range of 20 percent to 25 percent and its projected recurring revenue growth range of 18 percent to 23 percent.<br \/>\n&nbsp; &nbsp;Separately, Numerex confirmed that Tony Holcombe joined Numerex\u2019s Board of Directors in October.
