According to Boeing engineers, the test usually takes a week or longer, but the satellite\u2019s design approach and proactive risk-reduction plan helped expedite the process.<br \/>\n\u201cThe successful PIM test indicates that Intelsat IS-22 will have superior on-orbit performance. Completing the test in such a short time, with no issues, demonstrates the viability of hosted payloads and of commercial deployment of a government-required system.
