The planned 12-satellite GPS 2F constellation aims to provide enhanced military signals that are more resistant to jamming and provide greater accuracy through advanced atomic clock technology. The constellation also will provide a new third civil signal for safety-of-life applications and a longer design life of 12 years.<br \/>\n&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; &#8220;The GPS constellation is the strongest it\u2019s ever been with 31 satellites currently on-orbit.
