The company will operate as an independent entity from CETel Germany.<br \/>\nGeolink Satellite Services\u2019 product portfolio comprised fix and mobile satellite services based on Iridium, Inmarsat and iDirect technology for governmental, corporate and maritime customers. CETel said it acquired the company due to its reputation in the African region\u2019s French speaking markets, where Geolink has enjoyed growth as a supplier of satellite-based communications services for NGOs, government institutions, oil and gas, mining companies, media, fishing and offshore racing. <br \/>\n&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; \u201cWith this acquisition, CETel will expand its service portfolio and customer base to consolidate its market position in Europe, Africa and the Middle East as well as in the mobile and maritime business. The acquisition also will allow CETel to combine the expertise of both companies and to provide customers with strong system integration capabilities and best-in-class end-to-end solutions.
