TIBA will use the capacity to deliver premium, brand-name television programming to thousands of cable operators serving more than 30 million households throughout the entire region.<br \/>\n&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; \u201cOur long-term agreement for significant SES-6 capacity solidifies our ability to continuously deliver on the escalating consumer demand for new channels and HD content throughout Latin America. Our relationship with SES World Skies provides the stability, flexibility and reliability TIBA must have to ensure we meet the distribution needs of worldwide tier-one broadcasters in cable television markets across the region,\u201d TIBA CEO Norberto Alvarez Vitale said in a statement. &nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; <br \/>\n&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; SES-6 is scheduled to replace NSS-806 when it\u2019s launched in early 2013, providing more capacity in the coveted 319.5 degrees East orbital slot. <br \/>\n&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; SES World Skies has kicked off the year with a number of new capacity contacts. In late January, the company announced its government solutions arm had received an order under the U.S. Government\u2019s new $5 billion Future Commercial Satcom Acquisition (FCSA) program to provide C-band capacity to Artel for support of government initiatives.
