{"id":85565,"date":"2011-01-11T20:10:55","date_gmt":"2011-01-11T12:10:55","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/wp-productionenv-bjg9h2g2bgg5b8aa.southeastasia-01.azurewebsites.net\/news\/infinity-systems-wins-u-s-air-force-milstar-aehf-engineering-contract\/"},"modified":"2011-01-11T20:10:55","modified_gmt":"2011-01-11T12:10:55","slug":"infinity-systems-wins-u-s-air-force-milstar-aehf-engineering-contract","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/starpath.global\/news\/infinity-systems-wins-u-s-air-force-milstar-aehf-engineering-contract\/","title":{"rendered":"Infinity Systems Wins U.S. Air Force Milstar, AEHF Engineering Contract"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><strong>Infinity Systems Engineering <\/strong>won a $17.4 million contract from <strong>U.S. Air Force Space Command<\/strong>  to provide communications and engineering support on three military  communications satellite systems over the next five-and-a-half years,  Infinity announced Jan. 7.<br \/>\n&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; Infinity will support the Air Force\u2019s 4th Space Operations and 614th  Space Communications Squadrons in planning and operating the Pentagon\u2019s  Milstar military communications satellite network and the Advanced  Extremely High Frequency (AEHF) satellite network that will replace  Milstar.<br \/>\n&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; Infinity joins subcontractors <strong>Integrity Communications Solutions, L-3 Communications<\/strong> and <strong>WPL<\/strong> on the program contract.<br \/>\n&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; The AEHF satellite system is designed to provide global, secure,  protected and jam-resistant communications for all military units and  significantly increase capacity levels provided by the Milstar system.  The first AEHF satellite was launched in August.
