It was the sixth successful Ariane 5 launch for Arianespace in 2010. &nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; <br \/>\n&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; Hispasat 1E is the sixth Spanish satellite launched by Arianespace for Spanish satellite operator, Hispasat. Built by <strong>Space Systems\/Loral<\/strong> using an LS 1300 platform, the satellite has 53 active Ku-band transponders, which aim to give Hispasat additional capacity, plus an expanded range of video and data transmission services, with European and pan-American coverage. The satellite\u2019s design life is 15 years, and it will be positioned in geostationary orbit at 30 degrees West. <br \/>\n&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; The Koreasat 6 satellite was built for Korea Telecom (KT). The satellite, built by Thales Alenia Space, it is equipped with 30 active Ku-band transponders.
