Intelsat said that part of the net proceeds of the sale are expected to be contributed or loaned to<strong> Intelsat Jackson<\/strong>\u2018s indirect subsidiary,<strong> Intelsat Corp<\/strong>. to be used to purchase any and all of Intelsat Corp.\u2019s outstanding $658.1 million aggregate principal amount of 9.25 percent senior notes due 2014 and any and all of Intelsat Corp.\u2019s outstanding $125.0 million aggregate principal amount of 6.25 senior secured debentures due 2028. <br \/>\n&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; The remainder of the net proceeds from the offering are expected to be used for general corporate purposes, which could include the repayment, redemption, retirement or repurchase in the open market of other indebtedness of Intelsat S.A. or its subsidiaries.<br \/>\n&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; Separately, Intelsat Appointed Terry Bleakley Regional Vice President of Asia-Pacific Sales. <br \/>\n&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; Bleakley will lead Intelsat\u2019s sales and marketing activities from the operator\u2019s Singapore office and implement the company\u2019s strategy for the Asia-Pacific region.
